Lionel Richie, one of the most successful solo artists in pop and R&B history and one of the most popular singer/songwriters of the modern era, announced his All The Hits Tour, presented by AEG Presents. Richie will take fans on an unforgettable musical journey featuring his most influential and revered songs that defined the icon’s unrivaled career. All The Hits Tour kicks off on January 25 in Honolulu, HI and Richie makes his debut performance at Orlando’s Kia Center on Saturday, March 9 for one night only. Tickets are on sale now!
International superstar Richie’s music is part of the fabric of pop and R&B, his music has a singular blend of songwriting artistry and euphonic singalong hooks, which propelled his mass appeal to fans of country, pop, R&B and soul alike, amassing more than 100 million album sales to date. In addition to being one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, during his illustrious career Richie has garnered numerous awards including an Oscar®, a Golden Globe®, four Grammy Awards®, the distinction of MusicCares Person of the Year in 2016 and an honoree of the Kennedy Center in 2017. In March 2018, Richie cemented his legacy at The Creative Life (TCL) Chinese Theatre IMAX in Hollywood, one of the most historic awards in Hollywood. Most recently, he was honored with the Ivor Novello Performing Rights Society (PRS) for Music Special International Award, which is a distinction that represents the pinnacle of musical achievement and peer recognition in the music industry.
Richie released over 40 singles, five of which became number-one hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. He is best known for his mega-hits including, “Endless Love,” “Lady,” “Truly,” “All Night Long,” “Penny Lover,” “Stuck on You,” “Hello,” “Say You, Say Me,” “Dancing on the Ceiling,” and one of the most epic pop songs in music history, “We Are the World,” co-written with Michael Jackson for U.S.A. for Africa. His impressive song catalog also includes his early work with The Commodores, where he developed a groundbreaking style that defied all genre categories, composing the chart-toppers, “Three Times a Lady,” “Still” and “Easy.”
Richie was a judge on “American Idol" last season and returns to the judge’s chair this season. In April 2016, he launched his headlining Las Vegas residency show, Lionel Richie—All the Hits, at The Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. His residency featured his brightest and best anthems and after the multi-year run, the highly successful Vegas show wrapped in October 2018.
