Their breakthrough came with the 1995 album "Adrenaline," but it was their 2000 release, "White Pony," that solidified their place in the metal and alternative scenes, earning critical acclaim and a Grammy Award nomination. Deftones' music is celebrated for its atmospheric textures, emotional intensity, and innovative approach to metal, making them a pioneering force in the genre. Despite lineup changes and personal challenges, the band has maintained a dedicated fan base and continues to influence new generations of musicians.
