Dave Chappelle

Comedian Dave Chapelle is bringing his comedy show, “Dave Chappelle Live” to Orlando and will be at Kia Center on November 2! 

Chapelle is best known for his sharp wit, fearless social commentary, and unique comedic style that blends humor with incisive social and political commentary.

He gained recognition with appearances on various television programs, including "Def Comedy Jam" and "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson." However, it was his groundbreaking sketch comedy show, "Chappelle's Show," which aired on Comedy Central from 2003 to 2006, that catapulted him to mainstream fame. The show tackled a wide range of topics, often delving into sensitive social issues with humor and satire.

After spending several years away from the spotlight, Chappelle made a triumphant return to stand-up comedy in the 2010s with a series of highly praised Netflix specials, including "Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin," "Dave Chappelle: Equanimity," and "Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones." These specials showcased his signature blend of humor and social commentary and solidified his status as one of the most influential comedians of his generation.

Throughout his career, Dave Chappelle has received numerous awards and accolades for his work, including Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space.
 
Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
 
Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience.
